Overview
This device uses advanced technology that will remove plaque buildup between your teeth, thanks to the rapid bursts of air and micro-droplets of water, mouthwash, or a combination of both.
This combination has been proven to remove five times more plaque than just brushing or flossing alone. Typically you can get two uses before needing to refill the reservoir.
The Airfloss uses a lithium battery that is rechargeable, and you can get about two weeks off of each charge.
To turn it on, you only have to hit the trigger that is located on the bottom of the stem, which is that section where the body and head of the Airfloss connects.
What People Had To Say
When looking at what people had to say about the Philips Sonicare AirFloss Electric Flosser, we noticed that many people had positive things to say about this little device.
Of these positive reviews, customers were most impressed with how well it is able to get in between their teeth and clean. Some have said that the Airfloss was able to blast out food particles that may have been lodged in between their teeth.
Several people mentioned that they felt like this was a great device for improving their overall dental health. One person commented that they once had bad problems with their gums, and with regular use, the Philips Sonicare AirFloss Electric Flosser was able to reverse those problems. Please keep in mind that these results are not typical, but simply a possibility.
At the other end of the review spectrum, there were quite a few people who were not very pleased with this device. Some people reported that they felt the reservoir was too small and it would take some time for the water pressure to build up before they could use it.
There were a few people who did comment that they felt the power was too strong, but there was also one person went on to say that the more they actually used this device, the less effective it was.
Other complaints customers had with the Airfloss was that their product didn?t work at all, even with a fully charged battery. Some had problems getting the nozzles into the handle, while others voiced concerns about the inability to dry out the reservoir.
Because the reservoir cannot be dried out, even with the lid open and left to air dry, some people are worried about mold growing, despite Philips stating that the unit ?should not? grow mold.
Our Recommendation
Improving the health of your teeth isn?t a laborious chore that takes up a lot of your time. Why, it only takes a mere minute of your day, leaving you with 1,439 minutes left to do whatever else you want! When you break it down like that, it makes you wonder why you hadn?t devoted 60 seconds to flossing before, right?
You?ll find that with the Philips Sonicare AirFloss Electric Flosser, you?ll be able to remove built up plaque and eliminate bacteria from forming between your teeth and the gum line. We like this unit because it combines water pressure with bursts of air to hasten the flossing process.

If you?re really short on time and you become proficient with flossing with this, you could cut that minute in half.
We are especially fond of this unit because it easy to use and it features a rechargeable battery. When the battery is fully charged, you can floss for two weeks before needing to be recharged. To turn the device on, all you need to do is press a button! That?s it!
It is worth mentioning that the pressure of this unit seemed to fluctuate depending on which review you read. With that said, the people who felt the pressure was too weak or too strong were very few, it doesn?t seem like it is a common problem.
If you?re looking for a portable water flosser, we think that this is a great option.
